I take holistic approach to problem solving, because finding adequate solutions requires that a problem be approached from every possible angle.
Within our culture we've developed a bad habit of compartmentalizing our issues. It's disease inflicting many of the systems and institutions in which we operate, and as a result it's the only way many of us know how to think.
We live in an age where we're all attempting to start a business, or be an entrepreneur, all while branding ourselves haphazardly like the shit doesn’t matter.. and wasting a whole lot of fuckin’ money in the process.
We’re failing to focus on our story.
The “why should I actually give a fuck about whatever it is that you call yourself selling?”
The “what makes you and your service and/or product unique or different from the many other people in your lane?”
The “how am I positioning myself in the market? — what is the market — what is my market?”
Answering these questions, among others, it what gives our vision clarity and direction.
And the root of every problem, at least the ones I aim to solve, can be traced back to flaws within my client's story.
Before I’m a designer, a consultant, or any of the other twelve hats I wear—I’m an educator.
If I can help an individual, small business, or corporation better understand themselves and their story, and perhaps rewire how they approach problem solving, then I’ve done my job.
